Again, any money that I receive from Amazon.com will go to the Paul Steiger Memorial Scholarship
fund at Marquette University.
- CCNA: Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide -- Todd Lammle -
If you happen to be trying to get the Cisco CCNA certification then this book is quite helpful.
- Guess How Much I Love You (board book for small children) -- Sam McBratney, illustrated by Anita Jeram -
or Guess How Much I Love You (nice hardcover for adults or older children) -
One of the sweetest books you'll ever see. A great book to read to your children or to give to loved ones. The nice story is accompanied by
wonderful illustrations.
- Running Linux 3rd Edition -- Matt Welsh, et al -
Among other things, this is a good reference of basic Unix commands and tasks.
It's great if you're just starting to work with Linux. I'm addicted
to the O'Reilly animal books. This is the newest edition of the book; it just arrived in August of 1999.
- Web Design in a Nutshell -- Jennifer Niederst -
Great reference book for web design. I use it all the time for these pages.
- Our Dumb Century -- The Onion -
Fake front pages from the 20th century by the editors of The Onion. It's laugh out loud funny.
