Rachel's swimming lessons went very well. She had two weeks of lessons and absolutely loved them. I think she'll be disappointed tomorrow when we don't head out to the pool after dinner. She got pretty comfortable with kicking her legs, laying on her back, and so on. She still doesn't really like to have her eyes get wet, but she doesn't get too upset about it. Next on her agenda are dance lessons. She got ballet slippers, tights, and a leotard yesterday and she's pretty excited at the whole prospect of dancing in those clothes.

It's hot here, as it is throughout much of the country. We went to a Durham Bulls game last night as part of a seven game package of tickets we bought but only lasted about half of the game due to the humid heat. At 8:00 in the evening you'd like to not see the temperature read 94 degrees! At least some of the heat is supposed to back off soon, I guess.

I'm mostly done tinkering with this site now. I added a guestbook and a message board for you to use if you wish. If you'd like to know when new pictures get added, just send a blank email to update@hintermeister.com. When I put new pictures up on the website you'll then be notified via a note. I'll periodically update this particular page and the books and movies page without sending out notes so check them out periodically if you are interested.
