What's new?

Wednesday, February 2, 2000

The snow is finally starting to melt here. We actually had two plow sightings on our little cul-de-sac so it's much more pleasant driving on our road now. It felt like I was driving on the Baja last Friday since the roads were so bumpy. I measured 14" of snow in our yard, and the airport got about 20". I'll upload the snowy photos that we took as soon as possible.

Luckily, on Sunday, a potential ice storm was averted by about two degrees. It stayed just above freezing while the rain came down. It was pretty slippery out, but at least the trees weren't breaking.

Other than being basically homebound for a week, nothing too exciting to report from here.
