Rachel (and Ronda) went to two birthday parties last weekend. One of Rachel's friends from our neighborhood had a birthday party on Saturday and then one of her best friends in pre-school had a party on Sunday. It was pretty exciting for Rachel but I think Ronda would have preferred a maximum of one party per weekend.

We went to a women's gymnastics meet at NC State on Saturday. There were teams from NC State, UNC, Denver, Yale, Penn, Michigan State, and Ball State. None of us knew much about what we were watching since we hadn't watched any gymnastics since 1996 but it was fun anyway. I think that the uneven bars and the vault were the most exciting.

We got a new grill last night. Nothing too fancy, but it is a major improvement on the dying grill that I presently have. I'm looking forward to a nice steak this weekend!
