It's been quite some time since I've updated this page. Since I last wrote here my mom visited for a week and we had a good time. Then, over the July 4 weekend, Ronda and I got the kids in the van and went up to Williamsburg, Virginia, where we met our former neighbors who have moved to Pennsylvania. We all had a good time at Busch Gardens, Jamestown, and Yorktown.

Then, later in July, my dad, sister, and nephew visited for a week. Two days after they returned home we went back to the airport to go on our own trip to see Ronda's family. We flew into St. Louis since we got a great deal on airline tickets, rented a car, and drove off to Kansas City. We spent a few days in Kansas City with Ronda's brother and his family and then we drove up to Corning, Iowa to see Ronda's sister and her family and also Ronda's mom. We spent a couple days in Iowa and then drove to St. Louis where we played tourist for a day and then flew home.

So now a good portion of the major relatives have seen Andy.

In other news, I've been struggling with job decisions. In the end, I accepted a job with Cisco Systems and am very excited for the change. I'll be testing software for routers and switches which is similar to what I used to do at IBM before they got out of that business. So if you have my IBM email address, don't use it anymore, it won't work. -- Gerry
