What's new? Monday November 29, 1999 We were busy over the holiday weekend. On Thursday we had our friends Todd and Noelle over for Thanksgiving dinner. After dinner I took advantage of Todd by having him help me move our sleeper sofa up to the toy room/office area/Playstation room. We have a new couch arriving in the next week or two and we decided to keep the older, extremely heavy couch also. Thanks for the help, Todd! On Friday we went to a 10:30 am showing of Toy Story 2. This was Rachel's first trip to a movie theater and she was very good. Actually, she was much better behaved than the idiot behind me who felt that he had to explain each and every preview to his children. Fortunately he didn't do that during the movie, though. Great movie, by the way. On Saturday I decided to rent a Rug Doctor since I didn't have a couch in the living room. (Sorry for the link to Rug Doctor, I couldn't help myself.) So I moved everything else off of the carpet downstairs and cleaned the carpet. I'll do the upstairs on a later date; I didn't want the whole house to have wet carpet. It's really quite amazing and gross to see how much dirt is removed from your carpet when you do this. On Sunday I repotted our houseplants. Soon, we'll either have a house full of dead plants or the happiest plants in the state. Stay tuned. I also watched the Vikings game, too. I'm glad the offense is doing well, but could someone PLEASE play defense? I'm feeling quite productive after this weekend. I hope everyone had a very nice Thanksgiving holiday! -- Gerry
